Yellow Delta Traps® are highly effective and perfect for monitoring small Lepidoptera moths like False codling moth, Macadamia nut borer, Indian meal moth, and Vine mealybug.
Delta Traps® are one of Insect Science’s most popular and dynamic devices. These cost-effective traps are easy to assemble and use, enabling fast implementation for a quick infestation count.
Delta Traps® are the trap of choice for monitoring various small Lepidoptera pests in orchards, large row crops, plantations, small vegetable gardens and indoors. A PheroLure® is used within the trap that releases pheromone into the environment to attract the target insect. PheroLures® can be in the form of a rubber septa or a volatile bulb, depending on the species being monitored. After entering the trap, insects land on the sticky liner and are immediately trapped by the powerful Stikem Glue coated on the surface of the liner.
Delta traps are available in yellow coryx (plastic). Traps come complete with a wire attachment for suspension and are used in conjunction with Delta Trap Sticky Liners and PheroLures®.
The sticky liner is a pre-glued white cardboard sheet with a grid design that fits into the bottom of the Yellow Delta Traps®, protecting them from dust and humidity while ensuring exceptionally long life and capture reliability.
At the bottom of each Delta Trap® is a printed record sheet for monitoring.
